Birthday Girl!

We had a lovely day today celebrating Isabel's 2nd birthday. It's been a lovely sunny day and we had about 20 children and probably more adults popping in throughout the day. Some stayed for an hour and others stayed all day. It's been lovely.

Isabel decided she wanted to wear a dress with trousers underneath it. She then added various things during the day including wings, sand, flower fairy costumes and later on rather a lot of green pen up her arms. She chose her birthday cake and decided on a football cake. We asked most people to bring a contribution towards the food and drink instead of a present and have ended up with lots of leftovers so we'll be enjoying the party for a few more days yet! All those strawberries and watermelon went though (but not all eaten by Isabel).

The other big news of the weekend is Isaac's new bed. It has a slide! And once we've rehomed the old one there will be plenty of space underneath for him to play too. It's a very big hit.
