On our little excursion this morning I treated myself to some flowers. The ranunculus (ranunculi?) are like a blast of sunshine even though it was overcast this morning (although lovely by the time I took the photos). And tulips are one of my favourite flowers (had there been more money in my purse I'd have bought the whole bucketful). I particularly love parrot tulips and these will get better as they open.
